DoT support specialist who detonates all active damage-over-time effects on enemies via Skill, Ultimate, and Talent follow-up attacks. Skill detonates DoTs on the main target at 75% and adjacent targets at 50% of original DMG. Ultimate detonates all DoTs on all enemies at 120% of original DMG and applies Shock. Talent triggers follow-up attacks when allies attack, detonating DoTs at 80% of original DMG. At 75%+ Effect Hit Rate, grants 100% ATK to self and eligible allies via A2 trace.

Key Mechanics

• Three detonation sources: Skill (75%/50% Blast), Ultimate (120% AoE), and Talent FuA (80% single-target via A6). Higher SPD means more turns, which means more detonations — SPD is the most valuable stat after 75% EHR.
• DoT detonation damage scales with the original DoT's damage, not Kafka's own stats. Kafka's role is to trigger as many detonations as possible, making partner DoT strength (Black Swan Arcana, Hysilens Zone DoTs) the primary damage source.
• A2 trace provides 100% ATK to all allies with 75%+ EHR — a massive team-wide buff that makes EHR the single most important stat to cap. Below 75%, Kafka loses her primary support contribution.
• Eagle of Twilight Line 4pc grants 25% action advance after Ultimate, creating a cycle: Ultimate → advance → Skill → Talent FuA charges refill → repeat. Energy Regen Rope sustains this loop.
• Shock from Ultimate, Talent, and Technique are identical (290% ATK Lightning DoT, 2 turns). Kafka applies Shock from multiple sources ensuring persistent uptime for detonation and Prisoner set DEF ignore.

Peak DoT performance — Kafka paired with both Hysilens and Black Swan. All three DPS characters scale each other: Kafka detonates DoTs constantly, Hysilens applies all four DoT types through her Zone, and Black Swan stacks Arcana from both sources while buffing the entire team with 72% DMG. Kafka's detonations simultaneously stack Arcana and activate Hysilens Zone on all enemies, creating compounding damage that no other team structure can match.

Dual DoT

The amplifier compensates for the missing third DPS with multiplicative buffs.

2. E2 — Second priority. Permanent 33% DoT DMG increase for all allies while Kafka is on field. Stacks with E1 Vulnerability for compounding team damage. Recommended stopping point before chasing signature.
3. LC S1 — After E2 secures team amplification, Tutorial Mission Starts enables Ultimate spam via 8 Energy per attack, maximizing 120% detonation frequency and Eagle set action advances.

Important Notes

• Requires 75% Effect Hit Rate to activate A2 Bonus Ability (100% ATK buff to self and eligible allies). Without this, team damage drops significantly.
• Extremely SP-negative — uses Skill nearly every turn. Pair with SP-positive supports (Tribbie, Cipher, Gallagher) or SP-neutral teammates to avoid SP starvation.
• Needs 160+ SPD for maximum detonation frequency. Eagle 4pc action advance on Ultimate multiplies the value of every additional SPD point. Prioritize SPD substats after reaching 75% EHR.
• Energy-hungry for support builds — Before the Tutorial Mission Starts or Energy Regen Rope is required to maintain frequent Ultimate usage, as 120% detonations are the strongest single contribution.
• DoT teams require ramp time — debuffs must be applied before detonations matter. Damage output compounds strongly from cycle 3 onward as DoT stacks mature. Weaker in extremely fast fights.
