Universal debuffer who applies permanent 35% vulnerability through Ashen Roast stacks and 15% Ultimate DMG vulnerability via his Zone. Ramps quickly and never loses maximum debuffs. Unmatched for Acheron teams, strong for any Ultimate-reliant DPS, and functional in DoT compositions.

Nihility debuffer who applies stacking Ashen Roast vulnerability (up to 35% DMG taken at 5 stacks) and deploys a Zone granting 15% Ultimate DMG vulnerability. Ashen Roast also counts as a Burn DoT dealing 180% ATK Fire DMG per turn. Once ramped, debuffs are maintained indefinitely through Zone reapplication and A6 auto-stacking on newly spawned enemies. Low 100-Energy Ultimate enables near-permanent Zone uptime.

Key Mechanics

• Ashen Roast is both a vulnerability debuff and a Burn DoT simultaneously. This dual nature means it counts as a debuff for Acheron's Slashed Dream stacking AND as a DoT for Kafka's detonation mechanics.
• Zone's 60% base chance to apply Ashen Roast on enemy action triggers per individual action — Elite enemies that act twice per turn get two separate chances. Combined with the 6-trigger cap per Ultimate, this provides massive Slashed Dream generation for Acheron.
• The 15% Ultimate DMG vulnerability from the Zone is additive with Ashen Roast's 35% vulnerability, creating 50% total vulnerability to Ultimate DMG at max stacks while the Zone is active.
• Effect Hit Rate investment has triple value: guarantees debuff application against 30% RES enemies, maximizes the A4 240% ATK bonus, and improves the 60% base chance Zone proc rate. The 140% EHR threshold is critical for all three.
• Base SPD of 98 is below average — requires SPD boots and/or Sprightly Vonwacq action advance to act before DPS characters and apply debuffs first.

1. LC S1 — Signature provides 60% EHR (relaxing stat requirements significantly) plus a third debuff via Unarmored, directly enabling Acheron's Slashed Dream and Dr. Ratio's follow-up guarantee. Prydwen recommends LC before eidolons.
2. E1 — Grants 40% team DMG bonus to Ashen Roast targets and adds +1 stack per Talent proc, reaching max stacks 2-3 actions faster. Most impactful eidolon for all teams.
3. E2 — Triples the Ashen Roast DoT multiplier from 180% to 480% ATK, making Jiaoqiu a meaningful damage contributor in DoT teams where Kafka detonates the boosted DoT.

• Low base SPD (98) requires significant Speed investment or Sprightly Vonwacq action advance to consistently act before DPS characters.
• Zone dispels immediately if Jiaoqiu is knocked down, resetting all enemy debuff stacks and losing momentum. Sustain and DMG Reduction are important.
• Outside of Acheron teams, he is generally weaker than top Harmony supports like Robin, Ruan Mei, and Sunday whose slots are often non-negotiable.
