Overview

Dual-mode sub-DPS who designates an ally as Shifu and adapts her kit to their Path — CRIT carry with damage-path Shifu or Break DPS with support-path Shifu. Completely SP-positive after initial Skill, with built-in action advances and Shifu CRIT/Break buffs. All six Eidolons freely available.

Dual-mode sub-DPS who designates an ally as Shifu via Skill and adapts her Enhanced Basic ATK based on Shifu's Path. Damage-path Shifu (Hunt, Destruction, Erudition, Remembrance) grants Additional DMG per hit; support-path Shifu (Harmony, Nihility, Preservation, Abundance) grants +100% Toughness Reduction per hit. Accumulates Charge from Shifu's attacks and Ultimates, then action advances at 7 Charge to deliver a multi-hit Enhanced Basic. Entirely SP-positive after the opening Skill.

Key Mechanics

March's primary damage source is Enhanced Basic ATK, which costs 0 SP and generates 30 Energy. After the opening Skill (-1 SP), she is fully SP-positive for the rest of combat, freeing team SP for expensive supports.
Shifu Path determines March's role: damage-path Shifu (Hunt, Destruction, Erudition, Remembrance) adds 20% ATK Additional DMG per hit for CRIT carry builds; support-path Shifu (Harmony, Nihility, Preservation, Abundance) adds +100% Toughness Reduction per hit for Super Break builds.
A4 Filigree lets March deal Toughness damage matching Shifu's element, making her flexible against any Weakness type. Breaking enemies this way triggers Imaginary Break, not the Shifu's element Break.
Charge generation scales with Shifu's action frequency. Fast-acting Shifu (high SPD Gallagher, Topaz + Numby dual actions) give March Enhanced Basic access much sooner. E2 adds a follow-up attack after Shifu uses Basic ATK or Skill, further accelerating Charge.
Super Break March requires Harmony Trailblazer — March has high Toughness output via +100% Toughness Reduction per hit but no intrinsic Super Break scaling. Without external Super Break support, Break damage is non-competitive.

CRIT Follow-up Attack

March as sub-DPS alongside a damage-path Shifu (Hunt, Destruction, Erudition). Shifu's frequent attacks and Ultimates generate Charge stacks, triggering March's Enhanced Basic which can hit 5-8 times at full ATK scaling. Every hit triggers Additional DMG (20% ATK per hit via Skill) and A6 grants Shifu +60% CRIT DMG and +36% Break Effect for 2 turns after each Enhanced Basic. March costs only 1 Skill Point at the start of combat and is fully SP-positive thereafter — enabling SP-hungry supports like Robin or Sunday without strain.

Super Break

March as Break DPS with a support-path Shifu (Harmony, Nihility, Preservation, Abundance). Support path activates +100% Toughness Reduction per hit on March's Basic ATK and Enhanced Basic hits, enabling massive Toughness damage on every attack. Harmony Trailblazer is mandatory to grant Super Break capability. High-SPD Gallagher is the ideal Shifu — his fast actions and self-advance generate maximum Charge stacks, while Besotted increases Break DMG taken. Build targets 150%+ Break Effect, 135 SPD, with optional CRIT stats since Enhanced Basic still benefits from CRIT.

Investment Priority

E1 — SPD +10% while Shifu is on field, stacking with Skill buff for total +20% SPD. Helps March hit 134 SPD breakpoint from 102 base without Feet SPD main stat, freeing a slot. First target for CRIT builds.
E2 — March launches FUA equal to 60% ATK after Shifu Basic ATK or Skill. Adds 1 Charge per trigger (once per turn). Dramatically accelerates Enhanced Basic access and enables full FUA team participation alongside Feixiao and Topaz.
E6 — Enhanced Basic CRIT DMG +50% after Ultimate. Strong damage spike that pairs with A6 buff window, but only relevant if already at E2.

Important Notes

CRIT and Break builds require different stat investments — cannot share the same relic set between playstyles.
Break build requires Harmony Trailblazer. Without Super Break, March's high Toughness output does not translate to competitive damage.
March is a sub-DPS and support hybrid, not a standalone carry — always needs a Shifu to define her role and generate Charge.
