Overview
Break support who converts Toughness Reduction into Super Break DMG even on non-Broken enemies, eliminating the archetype's core ramp-up weakness. Provides 50% Weakness Break Efficiency, 18% DEF shred, Weakness Implant, and consistent SP recovery. Exclusively viable in Break teams.
Break support who deploys a Zone via Skill that converts all Toughness Reduction into Super Break DMG even on non-Broken enemies, eliminating the archetype's core ramp-up weakness. Manages a 130-Energy Ultimate cycle that applies Wilt (18% DEF shred + Weakness Implant of all Dance Partners' types) to all enemies. Talent designates a Dance Partner (highest Break Effect ally) and launches a 5-hit Follow-up ATK after the Dance Partner attacks, generating SP via A4 trace.
Key Mechanics
- Zone from Skill is the core mechanic — it converts ALL Toughness Reduction into Super Break DMG on non-Broken enemies, including through Toughness-Locked enemies. This eliminates Break teams' ramp-up weakness entirely.
- Dance Partner designation auto-selects the ally with highest Break Effect. The Dance Partner receives 60% Super Break conversion on Broken enemies from Talent, plus triggers The Dahlia's Follow-up ATK.
- A6 trace is critical for Firefly synergy: Fire Weakness Implant from Enhanced Skill grants Firefly 30% SPD for 2 turns and 10% Max Energy per implant (with 240 Max Energy, that's 24 Energy per implant, capped at 120 total). Combined with Skill's 60% Energy restore, enables immediate Ultimate re-entry.
- Wilt from Ultimate lasts 4 turns with 130 Energy cost — nearly permanent uptime on DEF shred and Weakness Implant. A6 Energy regeneration and Follow-up Energy (2 per trigger) help maintain this cycle.
- SP positive through A4 (1 SP per 2 Follow-ups) and Basic ATK usage on non-Zone turns. Signature LC adds 1 SP per Ultimate from Weakness Implant. This SP generation is critical for enabling SP-hungry Break DPS at E0.

Investment Priority
- E1 — Extends the Talent Super Break multiplier to all allies (not just Dance Partner), and adds 25% fixed Toughness Reduction per enemy hit — drastically accelerates Break loops against high-Toughness bosses. Most impactful first purchase for Break enthusiasts.
- LC S1 — Signature provides the extremely rare Break DMG Dealt buff (32%) and SP recovery on Weakness Implant. Substantial gap over alternatives due to unique buff type. Get after E1 for maximum performance.
- E2 — Permanent 20% All-Type RES reduction for all enemies plus instant Wilt application on enemies entering the field — best stopping point for spenders who want to replace Ruan Mei in other teams.

Important Notes
- Zone duration is 3 turns decreasing at start of Dahlia's turn — must cast Skill consistently to avoid losing the pre-Break Super Break conversion window. Missing a Skill cast can cost an entire rotation's worth of damage.
- Exclusively useful in Break teams. Zero kit value for Crit, Follow-up Attack, DoT, or Remembrance archetypes. Do not pull without an established Break DPS to support.
- Needs 67%+ Effect Hit Rate to guarantee Wilt application on high-Effect RES enemies. Without sufficient EHR, DEF shred may fail, significantly reducing team damage output.
- Signature LC is highly recommended due to the rarity of Break DMG Dealt as a buff type. The gap between signature and alternatives is larger than for most characters in this regard.
