Break-focused Destruction DPS who transforms into Complete Combustion state via Ultimate, gaining massive SPD, Enhanced abilities, and AoE Fire Weakness Implant. All meaningful damage comes from Super Break DMG dealt to Weakness-Broken enemies — traditional CRIT scaling is irrelevant. Manages a 240-Energy Ultimate cycle fueled by Skill's 60% Energy restore and 25% Action Advance, then executes 3-4 Enhanced Skills per Combustion window. Enhanced Skill Weakness Breaks extend the Combustion countdown by 10% per trigger (up to 30% total), stabilizing uptime.

Sustainless Super Break

The optimal way to play Firefly. Triple amplifier stacking maximizes Super Break damage while Firefly self-sustains via 40% DMG Reduction at low HP and 25% Max HP self-heal per Enhanced attack in Combustion. Investing vertically into Firefly/Dahlia/Fugue yields far more damage than diverting resources to a sustain slot. If content demands survivability, drop to the sustained variant with Gallagher — never invest in Lingsha for Break teams when those resources are better spent on core amplifiers.

Sustained Super Break

Fallback composition for content that demands a dedicated sustain slot. Gallagher is the preferred sustain — SP-positive, contributes Toughness damage, and Besotted debuff stacks with Break multipliers. Lingsha is a last resort when Gallagher is assigned to the other team. Two Super Break provider paths: Fugue for current meta optimization (Exo-Toughness doubles Break triggers) or HMC for F2P accessibility (160% raw Super Break multipliers). Drop here from the sustainless variant only when Firefly's self-heal cannot keep up.

  1. E1 — Fixes SP economy entirely and ignores 50% of target DEF on Enhanced Skill. Opens SP-negative supports like Lingsha and stacks with Iron Cavalry (25%) for 75% DEF ignore before team shred. First investment target by consensus.
  2. LC S1 — Signature provides 60% Break Effect and 24% Break DMG taken debuff. Signature makes reaching the 300% BE threshold for 150% Super Break trivial. Gap to alternatives narrowed now that the 300% threshold is easier to hit on budget builds.
  3. E2 — Extra turn trigger now resets at the start of SAM's turn (no 1-turn internal cooldown). Effectively uncapped within a Combustion cycle — one of the strongest E2s in the game. Enables sustainless Bronya teams that chain infinite Break loops in Pure Fiction.
