Overview
Dedicated Break support enabling team-wide Super Break via Backup Dancer buff. Provides 30% Break Effect to allies and converts toughness damage into Super Break instances. Extremely high personal toughness damage through Bounce Skill and action delay on Break. Fully free 5-star with all eidolons obtainable through Penacony exploration.
Dedicated Break support who grants all allies the Backup Dancer buff via Ultimate, enabling team-wide Super Break DMG against Weakness Broken enemies. Toughness Reduction from attacks on Broken enemies converts into Super Break DMG instances scaled by the attacker's Break Effect. Personal Bounce Skill deals extremely high Toughness damage (120 at E0, 150 at E6), and A6 trace delays enemy actions by 30% on Break. Manages a 140-Energy Ultimate cycle fueled by Talent (10 Energy per enemy Break) and frequent Skill usage.
Key Mechanics
- Super Break DMG scales with the attacking character's Break Effect AND the Toughness Reduction of the attack. High-Toughness abilities (Gallagher Enhanced Basic at 90 Toughness, Aventurine follow-ups) deal proportionally more Super Break damage.
- Break DMG ignores CRIT stats and DMG% bonuses — only Break Effect, DEF reduction, RES reduction, and Vulnerability debuffs affect it. This makes DEF Shred and RES PEN from teammates multiplicatively valuable.
- A2 trace is a separate final multiplier on Super Break, not additive with other Break DMG increases. Against a single boss, 60% Super Break increase is enormous and makes HTB the strongest single-target Super Break enabler.
- Backup Dancer uptime is the single most important metric — without it active, the team deals zero Super Break damage. Energy management via Skill spam and Talent procs is critical. At E0-E5, an Energy Rope or Energy-generating LC may be needed.
- All six eidolons are obtainable for free through Penacony exploration (Clockie Statue levels 40/45/50 and Trailblaze Mission rewards). E4 and E6 are the most impactful upgrades.

Investment Priority
- E4 — The primary investment target. Passively shares 15% of HTB's Break Effect to all teammates — at 200% BE, this grants +30% BE teamwide. Massively amplifies Super Break damage for every ally while on field.
- E6 — Adds 2 extra Skill bounces (4 to 6 additional hits), raising total toughness damage from 120 to 150 — tied for highest single-ability toughness in the game. Extra hits generate more Energy, enabling Break Effect Rope builds without Energy Rope.
- LC S1 — Past Self in Mirror provides 60% Break Effect and team DMG buff after Ultimate. Most impactful at E6 when energy income is already met through extra Skill hits.

Important Notes
- Super Break only activates on Weakness Broken enemies — provides zero damage contribution before Break. Must pair with characters who Break quickly.
- HTB is Imaginary element and loses personal toughness effectiveness against non-Imaginary-weak enemies — rely on Break DPS for primary Break.
- A2 Bonus Trace Super Break boost drops from 60% vs 1 enemy to 20% vs 5+ enemies — less potent in large AoE but still positive.
- Mutually exclusive with other Trailblazer paths — equipping Harmony replaces current path and cannot be used simultaneously.
- All six eidolons obtainable for free through Penacony exploration via Clockie Statue and mission rewards.
