Overview
HP-scaling Wind DPS with consistent AoE Follow-up attacks and exceptional self-sustain. Draws aggro via Hellscape and charges Talent stacks from damage taken or HP consumed, enabling frequent team-wide Follow-ups. Thrives in dual-carry setups with HP-draining allies.
HP-scaling Wind Destruction DPS who enters Hellscape state via Skill, gaining Enhanced Basic ATK (Blast AoE), +40% DMG, and greatly increased aggro. Accumulates Charge stacks from taking damage or consuming HP, triggering an all-enemy Follow-up ATK at 5 stacks that also restores 25% Max HP. Ultimate consumes/restores HP to 50% and deals damage based on Max HP plus a tally of all HP lost in the battle (capped at 90% Max HP). Extremely SP positive since Skill is used once every 3 turns and doesn't end the turn.
Key Mechanics
- All damage scales purely on Max HP — ATK% buffs are completely wasted. Only HP%, CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, DMG%, SPD, and Wind DMG% contribute to damage output.
- Hellscape greatly increases aggro draw (higher than most other aggro mechanics in the game), making enemy attacks consistently target Blade. This feeds Charge stacks for Talent Follow-ups and Energy from getting hit.
- The HP loss tally persists across the entire battle and is only partially cleared (to 50%) by A2 after the first Ultimate. Combined with A4 converting healing into tally, the Ultimate is effectively always at maximum power after the first use.
- Blade pairs exceptionally well with allies who drain team HP (Castorice Ultimate drains 25%, Jingliu Transcendence drains 6% per action, Hyacine signature LC drains continuously) because HP drain counts as HP consumption, generating Charge stacks without relying on enemy attack frequency.
- Shields from Preservation characters (Gepard, March 7th, Aventurine) block incoming damage, preventing Charge stack generation from enemy attacks and wasting Hellscape's aggro draw.

Action Advance Hypercarry
Standard setup using action advancers (Sunday or Bronya) to maximize Blade's turn count. Each extra turn means more Enhanced Basic attacks, more HP consumption, more Talent stack charges, and more Follow-up triggers. Dual amplifier slots layer RES PEN, Vulnerability, or DEF shred for multiplicative scaling. Hyacine in the sustain slot provides the HP% buff that multiplies all Blade damage and keeps him alive at low HP thresholds.

Their HP consumption charges Blade's HP loss tally and Talent stacks faster without relying on enemy attack frequency. Both DPS share a single amplifier and sustain slot for Hyacine HP% buffs. Blade's extreme aggro draw from Hellscape protects the secondary carry from being targeted.

Investment Priority
- E1 — Extends the HP loss tally bonus to Enhanced Basic ATK, effectively doubling single-target damage when tally is maxed. The community consensus first target — massive quality-of-life and damage gain.
- LC S1 — Provides CRIT Rate, HP%, and near-permanent DMG% that compounds all HP-scaling damage. Get after E1 since E1 raises damage ceiling enough to justify signature investment.
- E2 — +15% CRIT Rate in Hellscape enables more flexible relic substats. Permanent buff given 100% Hellscape uptime — worth acquiring on the path to E2 but not a standalone priority over E1.

Important Notes
- Shields from Gepard, March 7th, or Aventurine block Talent stack generation from damage taken — avoid pairing with shielders unless shield uptime is low
- Hellscape aggro draw is greatly increased but not a guaranteed taunt — enemies can occasionally still target allies, especially with multi-hit or AoE attacks
- HP consumption can spiral without proper sustain — Blade can drop to 1 HP if healing lags behind consumption during Hellscape activation cycles
